Susan Deierling
I'm a native of England but have lived in the US for the past 25 years. Troy Deierling, my husband of 24 years is retired military and our Marketing Manager. We have moved across the US many times and lived in many places but settled in Williamsburg because of the great climate, friendly people and good schools.

We specialize in representing our clients in the purchase and sale of homes, condo's and investment property within the cities of Williamsburg, Yorktown, Hampton, Newport News, York County, New Kent, Toano, Jamestown, and Gloucester. We are current on all transactions in these areas. We're also very knowledgeable with the local school system and employment opportunities in the Williamsburg and Peninsula area.

About Troy Deierling:

I grew up as a Navy kid. We moved quite a bit and my father retired the year I graduated high school in Washington State.

I went to college in Daytona Beach Florida. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where upon graduation I was awarded a BS in Aeronautical Studies and an AS in Aviation Maintenance Technology. I also recieved my Commission as a Second Lieutenant in the US Marines after spending two summers in college going through Officer Candidate School. While in the Marines I graduated from Naval Flight School in Pensacola FL (married Susan there too) and recieved my gold wings as a Naval Aviator. Primarily I flew UH-1N Huey Gunships for HML/A-167 in New River NC with stints overseas on deployments. I was a squadron flight instructor for many years. I also worked in the maintenance department as the Quality Assurance Officer and also in the Safey Office and Ordnance Department.

After the Marines, I was accepted into the Coast Guard Direct Commission Aviator Program and I flew the HH-65A Dolphin for them. We were stationed in Astoria OR, Arcata CA and Portsmouth VA. In Portsmouth I worked as a Rescue Coordination Coordinator for the Atlantic Area Command and oversaw Rescue and counter-drug operations for the Atlantic and Carribean. After retirement, I joined my wife in Real Estate.

Susan and I have two daughters and one granddaughter. We are active at St. Stephen Lutheran Church where Susan is a Sunday School teacher and I'm the webmaster for the congregation.
